Riverside Nature Center is situated at the meeting of the Guadalupe River and Town Creek. With extensive clearing and planting, it has become an arboretum with over 140 tree species, approximately 200 species of wildflowers, cacti, shrubs, and native grasses. This is a great place to picnic or watch birds and other wildlife. It also contains a butterfly plant garden, sensory garden with Braille signs, and natural area with river trail. Riverside Nature Center has a picturesque scenery with tranquil atmosphere.
